Andrea Vecera - Bio

Andrea Vecera is an eclectic italian designer and artist; after graduating in industrial design from the Polytechnic University of Turin, he began working in graphic and product design at a very young age, pursuing his profession with a digital nomad approach, shaping his imagination through the experiences, stories, colors, and shapes he encountered during his travels around the world.
Since his early career, he has won numerous awards, including the first international HP “Hand Project Design 08 Award” sponsored by Hewlett Packard. In 2007, he won the “Silver Award” at the Samsung Young Design Award for his project “hiREC – product recorder” and in 2008, he won 1st prize for the official merchandising of Turin World Design Capital. In 2009, he held his first solo exhibition, entitled “Logography” dedicated to logos. In 2020, he won a WOLDA – World Logo Design Award with the logo and corporate identity created for the Pank restaurant in Turin.

In 2015, Vecera received recognition award from the President of the Senate of the Italian Republic as a “Young Italian Excellence” and in 2016, he was selected for the “Le Promesse dell’Arte” artistic residency program at the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris, where he presented the “Work in Progress” project in collaboration with Seletti brand. In 2018, he was a “Guest Artist” for the multinational Diageo, for which he designed and illustrated the company’s exclusive Reservation Book, published in a limited edition.

In 2024, commissioned by the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, he designed the official logo for the Year of Cultural Exchange between Italy and Korea, and in the same year,
he created the visual identity for the Italian Pavilion at the Gwangju Biennale in Korea.
He currently participates in numerous international exhibitions and leads numerous workshops in collaboration with brands, private and public organizations.
As a professor, he has taught “Keywords Design” and “Systemic Innovation Design, Master in Eco – Packaging Design” at the Polytechnic University of Turin and “Sustainable Design for the Food System” at the University of Parma.

n 2009 he founded ANDREA VECERA STUDIO based in Turin, Italy.
The studio deals with art direction, industrial design, interior, brand identity for companies, graphic design, illustrations and design consultancy. Over the years the studio has hosted many collaborations with design students from all over the world and currently has a collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Turin. Andrea Vecera signs special projects with his own brand “Andrea Vecera” and other projects with the collaboration of his team.
Today, the studio works with a variety of brands and clients from
around the world and its expertise is sought out across all design disciplines.
