Andrea Vecera is an Italian designer with a multinational career, from Finland to South Korea. After graduating in Industrial Design at the Polytechnic of Turin, he began to deal with graphics and product design, carrying out his profession as a designer with the approach of digital nomads, in order to shape his vision through the experiences, stories, colors and shapes encountered in his business trips around the world.

From his early stages, Andrea Vecera has won multiple awards through the years, as the first international HP “Hand Project Design 08 Award” promoted by Hewlett-Packard. In 2007 he gained the “Silver Award” at the competition for young talents Samsung Young Design Award with the project “hiREC – product recorder” and in 2008 he won the first price for the official merchandising of Turin World Design Capital. In 2009 he showed his first personal exhibition “Logography”, dedicated to logotypes works, winning in 2020 one of the WOLDA – World Logo Design Award with his logo for Pank restaurant of Turin.

In 2015 he received from the President of the Senate of the Italian Republic the recognition as “Young Italian Excellence” and in 2016 he was selected as a “Resident Artist” in the field of industrial design at the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris, where he presented the “Work in Progress” project in collaboration with Seletti S.p.A. In 2018 he was “Guest Artist” for the multinational Diageo, for which he designed and illustrated the prestigious Reservation Book of the company, published in limited edition. Nowadays, he takes part in numerous international exhibitions and directs food design workshops in collaboration with both international and local brands, such as Lavazza and Baladin Beer. Andrea Vecera heads the artistic direction and developes projects for companies all around the world, such as Ferragamo, De Longhi, Diageo, Diamantini&Domeniconi, Eurochocolate, F.lli Guzzini, Ghidini, Guardini, Kinder&Ferrero, Lavazza, Rexel, Ritzenhoff, Royal Palace and City of Venaria Reale, Seletti, Skitsch, Snowmons, United Pets and many others. As a professor, he teaches Sustainable Design for Food System at University of Parma, “Keyword Design” and “Systemic Innovation Design – Eco Packaging Design Master” at Polytechnic University of Turin as sustainability has become the main focus of his most recent works.
