|WHAT: Protective paper face mask||MATERIAL: Paper||CLIENT: Moglialab||LOCALIZATION: Turin (Italy)||YEAR: 2020|
A collection of disposable and first-level protective masks, designed for children and adults, inspired by traditional paper carnival masks. The project was conceived during the first lockdown and designed to make more playful in the eyes of the little ones what would later become a commonly used item: the face mask. By its contemporary design and its funny and amusing illustrations, Papermask wanted to be a more fun and reassuring alternative to the traditional masks on the market, produced in ecological paper with interchangeable filter made of Drop Block, a paper composed of cellulose and cotton and whose composition chemistry is designed in such a way as to make the environment unfavorable for viruses.
Papermask was included among the projects selected to compete for the Top Fedrigoni Award 2021.
